This guide will explain the steps to install Ubuntu Linux 10.04 Desktop Edition to a flash drive. There are three options to explore: Live USB, Persistent Live USB, and direct install to USB. We will cover the necessary steps to accomplish each type of install.
Option 1: Boot Ubuntu as a Live CD from a USB Flash Drive Use this option to install Ubuntu as a Live Install, which allows you to boot from the USB flash drive in Ubuntu, experience the Linux environment but will not retain any changes or settings after you shut down. This is a great way to get a feel for the OS, test some of it's capabilities as well as typical hardware compatibility. Programs you may need to download: Ubuntu 10.04 Live CD ISO available at ubuntu.com Universal USB Installer available at pendrivelinux.com What you will need: Running Windows XP/Vista/7 Fat32 Formatted USB 2.0 Flash Drive, at least 1GB PC with a Bios that can boot from USB Now with all of the necessary components in place, we can begin to setup our Ubuntu Live USB Drive.

This option also contains the install files needed to install Ubuntu directly to your desktop if you should so desire.
Option 2: Boot Ubuntu as a Live CD with Persistence from a USB Flash Drive This option will install Ubuntu Linux onto your flash drive with an area for persistent storage. You will be able to restart the computer, boot back into the Linux environment and all settings or changes made previously will persist. NOTE: This option is particularly hard on Flash Memory, as there can be quite a bit of reading and writing to the Flash Memory. What you will need: Running Windows XP/Vista/7 Fat32 Formatted USB 2.0 Flash Drive, at least 2GB PC with a Bios that can boot from USB Now with all of the necessary components in place, we can begin to setup our Ubuntu Live USB Drive.

You can boot from it with any computer that can boot from a USB flash drive. Note: This method requires that you disable your hard drive in BIOS to prevent overwriting your current operating system and force the install onto the USB drive. What you will need: USB 2.0 Flash Drive, at least 4GB PC with a BIOS that can boot from USB Blank CD A Computer with the ability to Burn CD/DVD Now with all of the necessary components in place, we can begin the process.
1. First, you will need to burn your Ubuntu ISO to CD using a program like ImgBurn available at ImgBurn.com
2. Boot your computer and press F2 to enter the system BIOS. Within here you will want to disable your Hard Drive. If this is not an option in your BIOS, I would suggest shutting down your computer and unplugging the power and data cables from your hard drive before proceeding. NOTE: If you choose not to disable your hard drive, you run the risk of installing Ubuntu on top of your current OS and can lose valuable information.
3. After you have disabled your hard drive, place the Ubuntu Live CD into your computer and boot from this.
4. At the initial boot screen, choose to try Ubuntu, not install.
5. Once Ubuntu loads, plug in the desired flash drive into the computer.
6. Now, double click on the Install Ubuntu icon that appears on the desktop.
7. The first 3 screens are language, time zone, and keyboard layout.
8. Now Ubuntu will notify you that there is a disk mounted, and asks to unmount it. This is your flash drive. Give it permission to unmount.
9. This is the prepare disk space screen. I chose to leave mine at default and let the installer handle the partitions needed by Linux.
10. Now you will see the login and user information screen.
11. Now you are ready to install, click install.
12. At one point during the installation, you may notice a skip button appear on the bottom left. This is to skip the auto update, and finally the language packs. I chose to skip language packs update.
13. This may take a while, mine took atbout 35 minutes to complete. When it is done, eject the disk and shut down the computer. Plug your hard drive back in if necessary, or boot your computer into bios and re-enable it. Reboot your computer and press F12 to enter the boot menu

A couple of days ago I came across the Dolphin Emulator for Ubuntu Linux. Basically it will run Nintendo Wii games (among other platforms) on your PC in both MS Windows and Linux. It was easy to install and I was amazed at just how well it rendered wii games and connected to the wiimote controls. Dolphin is able to run many Wii and GameCube games with almost full emulation with a few minor errors.
I spent the better part of yesterday playing around with the emulator, never let it be said I don't live a charmed life and was patently shocked with how well it runs games. Granted, I'm packing a beefy video card, so your mileage may vary
Throw in anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, support for gamepads (I used a wired 360 controller) and real Wii remote support (your computer just needs to be able to see Bluetooth devices, otherwise Dolphin will emulate the Wii remote using your mouse and keyboard) and you're looking at a very fine piece of software indeed.
Dolphin was first released in 2003 as an experimental Nintendo GameCube emulator that could boot up and run commercial games. However it had terrible performance and many games crashed on start up or barely ran at all. Average speed was from 2 to 20 FPS depending on the chosen game and system configuration and had no sound support.
Dolphin was officially discontinued in 2004, with the developers releasing version 1.01 as the final build of the emulator. However, the developers decided to revive the project in 2005 and then in 2007, version 1.03 was released with minor improvements and with little sound support as compared to version 1.01. Dolphin is now open source and free to anyone who wants a copy.
Dolphin can currently only run "images", also known as ISO or GCM files, of Gamecube and Wii games, since a PC DVD drive cannot read the discs directly. 11 TOOL TIPS PHOTOSHOP
TOOL TIPS

1. To draw a straight line with any paint tool, click on the image, move the mouse, and then Shift-
click – Photoshop will join the two points with a straight line using the current tool.
2. Hold down the Ctrl key at any time to access the Move tool [V]. Use Ctrl+Alt to drag a duplicate
of the current layer or selection.
3. Press the Space Bar to access the Hand tool [H] at any time.
4. Access the Zoom tool [Z] at any time by holding Ctrl+Space to zoom in, and Alt+Space to
zoom out.
5. Zoom in and out by using Ctrl+Plus ( + ) and Ctrl+Minus ( - ), respectively: have the window
resize to fit by also holding down the Alt key (Ctrl+Alt+Plus and Ctrl+Alt+Minus). Very Useful!
Note: You may also have the document window zoom to fit while using the Zoom tool [Z] by
enabling "Resize Windows to Fit" in the Options palette.
6. Hold down the Alt key when selecting a color with the Eyedropper tool [ I ] to define a
background color.
7. Use the Color Sampler tool [Shift+I ] with the help of the Info palette [F8] (Window » Show Info)
to monitor color changes in the current image. The before / after color values are displayed next
to their respective color sampler number (i.e. # 1). Specify the sampler color mode via the pop-up
menu on the Info palette [F8] (Window » Show Info).
To add a new color sampler simply click anywhere on the canvas (with the Color Sampler tool
[Shift+I ]). Remove a sampler by Alt-clicking on it.
Note: You may only have a maximum of four color samplers per image.
Tip: To use the Color Sampler tool from within a dialog window (such as Levels, Curves, etc.),
hold down the Shift key. Alt+Shift-click on a sampler to delete it.
8. While the Measure tool [U] is pretty handy for measuring distances (especially on a diagonal),
you can also use it to measure angles (like a protractor). Make sure the Info palette [F8] (Window
» Show Info) is visible. Select the Measure tool [U]: click and drag to draw a line. Hold down the
Alt key and drag a second line out from one of the end nodes (note the angle and lengths of the
two lines in the Info palette).
Tip: Move a measure line by dragging it with the Measure tool [U] (you may even reposition the
endpoints independently). Delete a measure line (or protractor) by dragging it off the canvas.
9. Ctrl-click a tool icon in the toolbar to reset the tool to its default settings.
10. Increase / decrease the brush size for the current paint tool using the left / right square
bracket keys ( [ / ] ), respectively.
11. The Eyedropper tool [ I ] (in Photoshop 6) allows you to copy the hexadecimal value of a color
to the Clipboard. Simply right-click over the desired color (in the image window) and choose Copy
Color as HTML from the context menu. You may then paste the color value into your favorite
editor.

18 PHOTOSHOP INTERFACE TIPS

1. You probably knew that pressing the Tab key hides the toolbar and palettes, but you can also
press Shift+Tab to hide only the palettes (thereby leaving the toolbar visible).
2. Snap your palettes to the nearest screen edge by Shift-clicking on their titlebars.
3. Minimize palettes by double-clicking on their (names in the) palette tabs. Use the minimize
button on the palette titlebars to cycle between: compact mode (minimum number of options /
contents visible) and contents mode (view all palette options / contents).
Note: (Photoshop 6) You can also double-click the toolbar’s titlebar to minimize it.
4. Press Enter (or double-click on a tool icon in the toolbar) to reveal the Options palette for the
currently active tool; alternatively, you may choose Window » Show Options from the menus to
reveal the Options palette.5. Use the Zoom field (in the bottom-left of the Photoshop window or Navigator palette) to quickly
enter an exact zoom level; press Shift+Enter after entering a value to have the field remain active.
6. To change the (document size) information displayed in the status bar (bottom of the screen –
Window » Show Status Bar), click on the > button and choose a new item from the pop-up menu.
Click on the status bar (to the left of the > button) to display the Print Size of the current
document. Alt-click to see the image dimensions and resolution. Ctrl-click for Tile information.
7. You can fill the (gray) canvas borders with the foreground color by Shift-clicking on it with the
Paint Bucket tool [K].
Note: To replace the default color, change the foreground color to 25% gray (R192,G192,B192)
and Shift-click on the canvas border again.
8. Hold down the Alt key to change any Cancel button into a Reset button (in any dialog box); this
allows you to easily restore values without having to Cancel and come back.
9. Use the Caps Lock key to turn Precise Cursors on / off.
Note: This does not work if Precise Cursors are already enabled in the Preferences [Ctrl+K,
Ctrl+3] (File » Preferences » Display & Cursors...).
10. Press "F" to cycle between three different Full Screen modes (or use the Mode buttons near
the bottom of the toolbar).
Tip: Press Shift+F to toggle the menus in Full Screen mode.
11. Double-clicking on Photoshop's background (the gray background) will summon the Open
command [Ctrl+O] (File » Open...).
12. Shift-click on the color ramp (on the Color palette [F6] (Window » Show Color)) to change the
spectrum. Alternatively, you may either right-click on the color ramp or open the Color palette
menu to select an alternate color mode.
13. Right-click on an image window's titlebar to quickly access features like Canvas Size, Image
Size and Duplicate.
14. Pausing the mouse pointer over an image window's titlebar will reveal (via a tool tip) the full
path of the current document.
15. Add a custom color to the Swatches palette (Window » Show Swatches) by clicking on any
empty (gray) area. Remove a color by Ctrl-clicking on it. Replace a color by Shift-clicking on it.
Insert a new swatch color (between two other colors) by Alt+Shift-clicking on either color.
16. Use the Hexadecimal Color Field ( # ) in the Color Picker to copy and paste color values from
one place in Photoshop to another (or even to another application that supports Hexadecimal
color values).
17. To increase / decrease the size of the Curves window [Ctrl+M] (Image » Adjust » Curves...),
click on the maximize / minimize button.
Note: Clicking the maximize / minimize button toggles the Curves grid between 171 pixels and
256 pixels wide. For greater accuracy, use the larger grid, since you have control over all 256
shades of gray in the image (compared to 171 shades by using the small grid).
Tip: Alt-click on the Curves window to increase the grid size.Tip: Hold down the Alt key to change Auto button into an Options button (and the Cancel button
into a Reset button).
18. (Photoshop 6 and ImageReady) Alt-click on a triangle icon to expand or collapse all child
elements of an action, action step, layer style, or layer set
button on the palette titlebars to cycle between: compact mode (minimum number of options /
contents visible) and contents mode (view all palette options / contents).

The word photography comes from the words photo meaning light and the graph which means the image. So photography can mean drawing / painting with light.
Types of cameras
Film cameras, now also known as analog cameras by some.
Film format
Before we stepped into the types of film cameras, it helps us to know in advance the various kinds of video / film size.
1. APS, Advanced Photography System. Small format with a size of 16x24mm film, packaged in a cartridge. Although this format is relatively new, but not popular. Stores that sell this type of movie hard to find in Indonesia.
2. Format 135. Also known as 35mm film. 24x36mm in size, packed in a cartridge containing 20 or 36 frames. This format is the most popular formats, many of us see around us.

Film Type
1. Film B / W, black and white negative film.
2. Color negative film. The most popular, we often use.
3. Positive film, also called a slide. More expensive and prone to overexposure. Yet the colors produced better because it can capture a wider range of contrast.
Types of cameras
1. Pocket / compact. Pocket camera. Popular for a layman, simple and easy to operate. Using 35mm film format.
2. Rangefinder. Search camera distance. Small, at first glance like a pocket camera. The difference is, this camera has a mechanism fokusing (hence called Rangefinder). Generally use the 35mm film format.

The camera manual and automatic cameras. Latest SLR cameras are generally equipped with autofocus and autoexposure system but still can be operated manually.
Digital camera. Using a digital sensor instead of film.
1. Consumer. Pocket camera, cheap, easy to use. The lens can not be replaced. Most only have a full-automatic mode. Just point and shoot. Some, like the Canon A series, has a manual mode.
2. Prosumer. SLR-like cameras, medium price. The lens can not be replaced. Shooting Mode manually and auto.
3. DSLR. Digital SLR.
Lens, the eye of the camera, generally determines the quality of the resulting image the lens has two important properties namely the focal length and maximum aperture.

2. Zoom / Vario, has a focal length that can be changed, eg the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 has a focal length that can be changed from 18 mm to 55 mm. Flexible because fokalnya an adjustable length.
b. based on focal length
1. Wide, wide FOV lens, focal length 35 mm or less. Usually used to photograph the scenery and buildings.
2. Normal, focal length about 50 mm. Lens is versatile, fast and cheap.
3. Telephoto lens with a narrow FOV, focal length of 70mm or more. To take pictures from a distance.
c. based on its maximum aperture.
1. Fast, has a wide maximum aperture.
2. Slow, has a narrow maximum aperture.
d. Special lenses
1. Macro lens, used to shoot from close range
2. Tilt and Shift lens, can be bent.
Terms wide lens / telephoto (focal length based) above applies to a 35mm film camera. Nikkor 50 mm lens becomes a normal lens on a 35mm film camera, but a telephoto lens when used on Nikon D70 digital camera. In Nikon D70 Nikkor 50 mm FOV FOV equivalent to 75 mm lens on a 35mm film camera.
Other auxiliary equipment
Tripod, it is necessary to shoot at a slow pace. At slow speeds, avoiding camera shake when hand-held (handheld). In general, the minimum speed is 1/focal handhel.

Long Shot (LS)
Shooting is done from a distance, but not to the extent Establish shot.digunakan to the emphasis on the surrounding environment or setting in the scene.
Medium Shot (MS)
Shooting to make frames actor. Usually done from the waist up. Medium shot (MS) bias is used to make people focus on two actors facing each other and beinteraksi, missalnya: debate, hugging and so forth.
Tehe Over Shoulder Shot (OS)
Shooting To take pictures of the actor over his shoulder the other actors, is used when the actors to each other face to face with each lain.contoh one actor speaking to another actor, while the others listen.
Close-Up (CU)
Shoting taken from close range. Usually the focus to the face, used to show facial expressions / mimic the actor. Noting the detail of objects, or to direct the audience on an element that is emphasized.
Tips Video With Perfect Record
If possible, always use your manual focus.
1. Set white balance at each transfer location or change of lighting sources.
2. If shooting outdoors (outdoor shooting), position the sun behind you. Likewise, other lighting sources.
3. Use a tripod or other tools.
4. In the recording conditions without assistive devices (handhelds), grasp and control your video camera so that the recordings remained stable (assuming a hot cup of coffee).
5. Use zooming only to restructure the composition of the uptake of the picture. Avoid its use at the time of recording (rolling), unless there is intent for a particular purpose, or was intentional because the results will be processed further recording (editing).
6. Shoot to edit. Be sure to further process each of your recordings (editing). For that, a video must be created and prepared in such a way as to be ready for further processing (variety and completeness of the picture, the duration of each shot, the camera avoids unnecessary facilities, etc.).
7. Keep the duration of each shot. Do not be too long and monotonous (without variations), but also not too short. Minimum of 8 to 10 seconds. There is no limit because it depends on the recorded action. However, as already started to record 3 to 5 seconds before the action takes place. Give the same duration after the action takes place.
8. Take care of each shot in a steady state with no camera movement, at least for 10 seconds. If a shot will contain the movement of the camera, give it the prefix and suffix in a steady state with a duration of at least 3 to 5 seconds.

RM / RMVB, RMVB is a RealMedia Variable Bitrate namely (CMIW) format technology, video / film menggunkaan variable bitrate developed by Real Networks with variable bitrate which can be generated video with excellent picture quality tetepi with small size.
Actually, a lot of software VIDEO to play video files with extensions rm / ram / rmvb. One example may be VLC or Media Player Classic which uses K-Lite Codec Pack. But never played a video format rm / ram / rmvb which can not be played in vlc and in Media Player Classic. In fact, not a few of those who deliberately put the link address to redirect your visitors to their sites. Therefore, to better secure your blog visitors have to log in first before they leave a comment.
4. Avoid fraudulent activities (illegal) that aims to increase blog traffic or page rank of your site. Because of all the suspicious activity, will enable your site is considered as spam by search engines like google. So, get used to conduct a campaign blog with the right ethics.
